World of Wine Regions Course.


This 4 class tasting course is designed for the intermediate taster who is looking to deepen their knowledge and palate's perspective on the world of wine. We will cover the main wine producing regions of the world and discuss what makes them unique while tasting examples. Be prepared to fall in love with a new region perhaps you’ve never tried before! [Note: Wines will be sold separately]. Each class is 2 hours long. All classes will be held online on Zoom!

Costs $225 for entire 4 class course per person.

France

Friday, May 28th

In this class we will cover the main regions of France and discover why their wines have been so popular for so long. What is unique about the French perspective? What styles were birthed there in this mother country? We will taste through 4 different wines/regions including Burgundy, Northern Rhone, Champagne and Alsace. Wines sold separately through my affiliate JC Select Wines.

All About Italy

Friday, June 4th

What makes Italian wines so exciting? Here we’ll dive into the most famous regions and taste their greatness. We will also explore the Italian perspective as we explore the modern and traditional styles of Italy. We will taste through wines from 4 different regions including; Friuli, Valpolicella, Sicily, and Piedmont. Wines sold separately through my affiliate JC Select Wines.

Southern Hemisphere

Friday, June 11th

There are so many great wines from Chile, Argentina, New Zealand and Australia. In this class we will taste some fascinating wines and gain appreciation for some underrepresented wines. We will be exploring Casablanca Chile, Central Otago New Zealand, Margaret River Australia and Patagonia Argentina as we taste through 4 wines.  Wines sold separately through my affiliate JC Select Wines.

 

5-7pm

California & US

Friday, June 18th

Here we explore closer to home as we taste wines from off the beaten path (outside of Cabernet or Chardonnay). What is new here in California? What about the US? Where are the shining stars from?We will be exploring 4 different regions including; Santa Cruz, So-Cal, Santa Ynez, and Fairplay. Wines sold separately through my affiliate JC Select Wines.
