Each class focuses on a specific grape's attributes, unique regional attributes and the winemaking steps that influence how it tastes. Each class can be purchased separately. Class 1: Oregon Pinot with a Burgundy Twist

Thursday, July 14th

Burgundy producers like Maison Louis Jadot and Maison Joseph Drouhin have recently invested heavily in northern Oregon. We'll examine a few select bottles to see how they are doing. The cost of the class includes the price of the wines.

Class 2: Mini-terrior- side-by-side vineyards

Thursday, August 11th

Can vineyards planted next to each other in different soils, altitudes, and aspects be that different? We'll compare single-vineyard Barolos and German GG Rieslings to find those differences. The cost of the class includes the price of the wine. Wines tasted will be: Saint Antony Grosses Gewachs, Rheinhessen, Germany + Ettore Germano, Serralunga, Barolo.

Class 3: California's Iconic Rhone Rangers

California's Iconic Rhone Rangers

In 1989, Wine Spectator ushered a new area of California wines to the marketplace by featuring Bonny Doon's Randall Grahm on the cover as a playful take on the "Lone Ranger." Today, Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, and other Rhone varieties excel in sunny California. We'll taste the legendary wines from Bonny Doon, Tablas Creek, Alban, and Terre Rouge. NOTE: Four premium wines will be tasted and are an additional cost shared among live attendees. (Average has been $50 to $100 extra). These costs will be shared once wines are purchased.
