Blind Tasting Like a Pro 101 Series
This wine tasting series will give you the opportunity to practice and refine your blind tasting skills. We will be tasting according to the WSET grid. This blind tasting will be geared towards the beginner to intermediate wine taster. We will be practicing 5 wines that represent classic wines from classic regions. Costs $35pp or $30pp if you book with one more person. RSVP is required. Space is limited. Early RSVP encouraged. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy.

The World of Wine 101 Series
Come and learn the fundamentals to wine tasting, grapegrowing, & winemaking while we taste through 5 different styles of wine. We will practice aroma identification, how to assess the structure of the wine, as well as learn the basics between old world vs. new world winemaking and the concept of 'terroir.' Tasting Age in Wine
Join me as we compare and contrast a vertical of 5 different vintages from 1 wine producer. All wines will cost over $100/each bottle. We will be discussing how age affects the flavor of the wine while discussing what makes a wine age well. This is a great class if you are a collector or a consumer of older wines. Class is limited. The Grand Cru Wine Class
Wish you could afford those $100 bottles of wine you hear about? Grand Crus from Burgundy, Grand Crus from Bordeaux? The Wine Smarties are piloting a 'next-level' tasting class for the advanced taster who doesn't want to pay $100 per bottle on their own to try these wines. Here is your opportunity! We will be opening 5 $100 bottles of wines...both whites and reds to taste. Your cost? $55. Pretty sweet deal to try over $500 of product. We will be breaking down the wines according to the WSET grid and assessing their value for the dollar. Class is limited to 15pp.

In this high-end class, we will be tasting wines that cost over $100 each! The Paris Tasting of 2012
In this exciting class, we will try to replicate the classic tasting of 1976 using the winning producer's wines of the time: Grgich Hills Chardonnay and Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. In this remake, in addition to the above, we will be tasting the wines against 2 other Chardonnays and 2 other Cabernets, including some French contenders. Costs $40 per person.
